A Day at the Office

Hey everyone! I recently got my Sony Alpha a55, and have taken A LOT of shots since the beginning of the year! Since racing season doesn't kick off until April around here, I've been chained to nature. I don't have a problem with nature shoots what so ever. They are so peaceful and quiet. Although, I do miss the loud, fast paced environment of the racetrack! Below are some shots that I have recently taken, all of which in the Painesville/ Mentor area of Ohio.

This image was captured along the side of the CSX Railroad.

A gas well in some tall field grass, with the distant sunset on the horizon.

I was walking home, and saw the reflection of the sunset in this puddle. I decided it
would look better if the water had ripples in it. In the process of making ripples, I realized
that I could produce this beautiful shot!
In my personal opinion, this is the BEST image I have ever captured!

It seems as if water can produce some beautiful shots! This shot was taken from about 1'' above this stream.

Some people would be surprised by the things you can find while walking around in the woods.

Taken from about 40' above the surface of the water, I threw the biggest rock I could find.

If your a person who has trouble finding things that hold your attention, you should contact this child.
I guarantee that he can and will hold your attention, and thoroughly amuse you! This is my nephew Ryan on
a 62 degree day in the midst of an Ohio winter.

Last year I entered a frame similar to this in the Lake County Fair. That photo won first place in it's category. I decided that I would re-create that image with that of this beautiful sunset, and an amazing new combination of equipment!

People often ask me what I do when I'm not working. The way I look at it, photographers are always working. Whether it be shooting, editing, printing, selling, etc. I am a photographer and a designer. I love what I do. Some people may say it isn't a real job, and that it isn't hard. I would strongly disagree.
The image above is yet another gas well with the sunset in the distance.

I would like to thank you for reading yet again. Hope you enjoyed your visit!

Until next time, stay safe, and shoot well!
